The standard catenary is bare stranded circular compacted all aluminum alloy AAAC/1220 conductor. For special applications, such as high wind locations, aluminum-clad steel-reinforced catenaries are available. Conductor Screen, Insulation and Insulation Screen Semi-conductive conductor screen, XLPE insulation and semi-conductive insulation screen are triple extruded. The insulation screen is hand strippable without preheating and complies with strippability and adhesion tests given in AS/NZS 3599.
